Zeta Translations provides AI-powered, real-time medical speech translation services. These Services are designed to assist with communication but are not a substitute for professional medical interpretation, diagnosis, or treatment.

3. HIPAA Compliance

  • Zeta Translations complies with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) when handling Protected Health Information (“PHI”).

  • We act as a Business Associate when working with healthcare providers and will enter into a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) as required.

  • Users who are healthcare providers are responsible for ensuring that their use of our Services complies with HIPAA and other applicable privacy laws.

4. User Responsibilities

By using our Services, you agree that you will not:

  • Misuse the Services or attempt to disrupt functionality.

  • Upload, transmit, or process information you are not authorized to share.

  • Use the Services for unlawful or unauthorized purposes.

  • Rely solely on the Services for medical decision-making.

Healthcare professionals remain responsible for verifying translations and ensuring patient safety.

5. Intellectual Property

All content; trademarks, logos, software, and technology associated with our Services are the property of Zeta Translations or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or exploit our intellectual property without prior written consent.

6. Data Handling

  • Audio and PHI are processed in real time and not stored, unless permitted under HIPAA and with explicit consent or a BAA.

  • We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect data as required by HIPAA.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain reliable Services but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend or modify Services at any time for maintenance, security, or business reasons.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • Our Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind.

  • Zeta Translations is not liable for any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in translations.

  • We are not responsible for medical decisions, treatments, or outcomes that rely on the Services.

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for damages related to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid to us for use of the Services in the past 12 months.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Zeta Translations, its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your use of the Services, violation of these Terms, or violation of applicable laws.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to our Services at our discretion, without notice, if you violate these Terms or applicable laws.
